I too have "issues" with our student librarians so I will be interested in that discussion.
However I would welcome tips from more experienced librarians on how to manage lists of books that have similar topics. When I "snare" a new reader with a good book eg: the Cherub series, I sometimes struggle to keep the "flow" going by having available similar books on hand to keep them reading. Our collection is badly cataloged and I have not had the time to update the old subject/keywords into OPAC. I am very careful to do so with new books but that is not always enough.
